Galaxy101 Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Hi! I have a Ford Galaxy 2.3 2003 which has been a fantastic vehicle over the past 2-3 years. Yesterday my wife was driving the car and suddenly the engine simply cut out. I placed on my red cape and drove out to collect her. The ignition lights comes on and I have power to radio, lights, etc but nothing happens when I turn the key. One thing I noticed was that the engine warning light used to come on when I switched on the ignition and now it does not (clears when the engine starts). I thought it was battery but tried to jump start with no success, I also tried to bump start it thinking it could be something with the starter motor but again this had no effect. This happened in heavy rain so I am thinking electrical but not sure really. After leaving the car last night in the dry and trying again this morning nothing has changed. Any suggestions would be welcome... Quote
Jayton Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 You checked the belts? Water around the ECU/fusebox(s)? Quote
